City peoples entertainment award took place at the haven centre in Ikeja, Lagos state yesterday, the 14th of July 2013.This is what Funke Akindele, Rita Dominic and Yvonne Nelson wore, who looked best? Fans say Yvonne won the night, though she had carried a yellow bag, and high heeled silver shoes to match a dashing white gown, she looked amazingly well and in shape.  It was hosted by Toke Makinwa, see her picture below in the white dress she wore...thought she looked smart really!!!

Sources Say OJB Jezreel is at least N26m richer after the gracious donations made to him by Governor Amaechi to help pay for his kidney transplant. It was calculated from the contributions made by the Governor himself and singers like P-squared. Ezinne Akudor has emerged as Miss Nigeria 2013. The 22years old beauty, who graduated from the University of Calabar with a degree in Law, was extremely delighted to be crowned Miss Nigeria 2013. She won herself a N3million cash prize and a trip to California, she was best among 20 contestants who were at the Intercontinental hotel in Victoria Island. Her words were " I am so excited to have won, there are many pretty girls here, but I won. I want to thank God for Victory".

OJB has received a dashing $100,000 from Governor Rotimi Amaechi!!!

 

 OJB Jezreel the music producer who was formerly an Engineer, hails from Agbor in Delta State. The Singer has received a life saving sum of $100,000 from Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State to help with his expenses and medical bill over the next coming months. This would assist in paying for the surgery for his much needed kidney transplant which he is scheduled to undergo abroad. The fund was gifted to him on his 47th birthday. Wow...thanks to Governor  Amaechi......good luck to OJB

Gay Pastor seduces victim!!!

                                               

According to sources Pastor Philips Ogbebor in Benin had allegedly had sexual intercourse with a Male member of his church and threatened to kill him, if he exposed him. His  20 years old victim had explained to him, he had never done it, the Pastor coerced him and he agreed but afterwards he said it was painful, and he did not enjoy it, he finally asked not to do it again. The Pastor then threatened to kill him. The victim narrated his ordeal;

“He carried sand and olive oil and poured them on my head, then he wore black garment, saying I will die if I ever leaked the secret. He killed a black fowl and gave me the liver and gizzard to eat at about 2 a.m., threatening that if I ever said it out, I will die like the fowl."

The suspect Pastor Ogbebor has now been arrested by the Edo State police command,  and is undergoing interrogations.

Kidnappers disguise themselves as beggers, Ajah in Lagos!!!

These are the photos of the recent arrests of suspected kidnappers in Ajah in Lagos, Nigeria. The rising rate of Kidnapping in Nigeria is on the rise, it could be children, adults, and even the elderly. Even though now captured, these criminals confess to pretending to be beggars around, and wait for unsuspecting people who park their cars and stop to urinate on the roads, then they kidnap their victims, and transport them to hide-outs, then demand a ransom from their family before any possibility of release, Every one captured faces the possibility of death.

Please lets beware of these strategies, for our safety and comfort, I suggest we don't leave our homes, offices without using the bathroom, and never stop to urinate on the roads, you could drive to your nearest restaurant or public facility to use their toilet!!!

Tonto Dike risks up to 15years imprisonment!!!

                                                               

Tonto Dike has received reports that her posts of Marijuana on her instagram page, has attracted the NDLEA spokesman Mr Mitchell Ofoyejus of Nigeria and faces a possibility of up to 15years imprisonment. She has denied the allegations, and blames it on a Fan saying He or She had posted the pictures.

The spokesman explains “Our attention has been drawn to the post, quite frankly and I can tell you that action will be taken on it. The law is clear and NDLEA has been very clear on the issue. No one is permitted to sell, use, cultivate or encourage the use of Indian hemp in Nigeria. The weed is one of the banned narcotics in the country.

“NDLEA Act Section 14 (b) states that any person who conspires with, aids, abets, counsels, attempts to commit or is an accessory to any act or offence referred to in this act shall be guilty of an offence under this act and liable on conviction to be sentenced to imprisonment for a term not less than 15 years and not exceeding 25 years.

Nigerian singers like P-squared and Iyanya raise funds for OJB!!!

                              

 

P-squared and family(The Okoye's), along with other singers like Iyanya, raise funds for OJB's kidney transplant. P-squared and family visited OJB and gave him N5,000,000 as donation to the procedure. While Iyanya's representative gave him N1,000,000.

                              

This goes a long way to the whooping $50,000 needed, which according to Actress Juliet Ibrahim, it is what is actually needed for the surgery, not $100,000 as earlier suggested. We hear as at Yesterday that the Nigerian Government has put restrictions or stopped the raising of these funds for fear of opportunistic behaviours.

The movies were both released this year, and shown in cinema's, but are surprisingly similar. The story lines are coincidentally alike. Both are yet a must see.......!!!lol Great stuff

Nelson Mandela's condition is stable says Winnie Mandela!!!

 



 

Nelson Mandela the anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician who served his country South Africa from 1994 to 1995, now 94years old, had fallen ill to a lung infection, and was hospitalised. Mandela's ex-wife, Winnie Mandela explained to the press some hours ago about his condition. She explained that she is not a Doctor so can't discuss his medical condition, but she can say, he is better and stable compared to some days ago. In a question about what would happen when Obama visits Pretoria-South Africa, "would he visit Mandela", she said she has no idea, but the focus and prayers should be towards Mandela's recovery and then thanked the press.

Tonto Dike says "I smoke weed while my haters smoke Gossip"

 

Nigeria's most controversial actress Tonto Dikeh, has surprised the public with her posts on her instagram page today, "Mi smoke gaja, mi smoke weed while my haters smoke gossip". She seemed to have an unusual expression on her face(see above), and her fans express concerns about her well being. She had posted some photo about something wrapped in a paper and the other photo of something like a drug, Marijuana she called it.

She had recently fallen on stage on the 9th of June, at her London performance with Iyanya, she looked like she had great difficulty composing herself during her performance and was escorted off the stage by the MC. See video below, after the jump break...............so sad!!!
