Wendi Deng is seen as a key player in the Media Empire, and Rupert Murdock the news corporation Boss, both got married in 1999.
His lawyers cited the reason as irretrievable breakdown of marital relationship.
Murdock who is 82 and Deng who is 44years old had previously signed a prenuptial agreement restricting her access to his finances should in case of a separation.They have two daughters together from their marriage.
